Abuse in the name of treatment
This film produced by the Hungarian Civil rights Union highlights the plight of people forced into drug detention centres. These centres are home to 100,000's of people throughout the south-east asian countries of Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and China. Those in the compulsory "treatment" centres have no legal representation and suffer unimaginable human rights abuses.
TalkingDrugs fully supports HCLU's campaign to get these detention centres closed. We hope by watching this video you will also support them in putting pressure on these governments to stop the abuses in the name of drug treatment.
All of the content on TalkingDrugs is produced by volunteers, if you would like to get involved email: volunteers@talkingdrugs.org
