My last drink: A teenagers perspective

Well the average teenager doesn’t know much about drinking or being drunk. Some have a naughty swig of a vodka bottle now and then just too have that rush that they all crave, you know the rush, the rush were you go out with a couple of mates, have a laugh, drinking, smoking and maybe some drugs, who knows. I know this feeling, this rush, mainly because I am a teenager. I know shocking, why is a teenager writing about his last drink or drinking in general. Well unlike the usual teen I have done much more. For instance how many teen’s have been too boarding school were every Friday night we would get served at the local pub or have been too china and tried hot saki. I even joined a rugby team were if we lost a game we would have a glass of whisky and a pint of beer but when we won we had too drink 4 pints of beer or you don’t play the next game. I’m very privileged that I have had these experiences.
Recently I have come back from boarding school to join a new school and the teenagers at this school have a different prospective on drinking. They believe that if you are a lightweight than your just weird, but I went too a party and they are all lightweights, one guy got drunk off just one beer and another person said that he isn’t a lightweight yet I beat him in a drinking game were he only finished 4 shots of vodka and then was sick, and me, I got up too the magic 8 and still wasn’t sick. I was wasted but not sick but that night I did some mental stuff I always do when I get drunk so from that day forth Ill try not too drink that much, maybe a beer or two, but I don’t think ill ever get drunk again........ I hope
I think that teenagers, especially under 18 shouldn’t get drunk, that is simple but stopping drinking all together is practically impossible, its like trying too get a shark too not eat meat, it just happens, it’s a sort of impulse if you will. Its not like smoking where half and half do it, almost all teens will do it, even if it’s a sip of beer at a family party it will happen and we cant stop it. That is why we have too lower the drinking age…….. no I’m joking but we do have too re-think the drinking laws. That’s my view ....
