The many disguises of the drug dealer

It is inevitable that when people first start using drugs, they will encounter a variety of weird, wonderful and sometimes dangerous people off whom they need to receive their chosen contraband. The assortments of people I have met throughout the years on my various quests all have their own stories. However, as all users will tell you, dealers are not a uniform bunch, they vary depending on the substance, the amount you are getting and so on.

Nike’s homage to chronic?

Today sees the launch of the Nike SB’s High Premium “Skunk” Dunk.

Despite a design and name that appears to make clear reference to ‘skunk’ cannabis, Nike have placed a skunk, the animal on the inner sole of the shoe which seems strange after all skunks like Pepe Le Peu are black and white.

Whilst skunk, the high potency strain of cannabis has a number of different greens and quite often purple flowers and has silvery crystal ‘hairs’ over its surface.

The conventionalisms of drugs, sex, love and alcohol

It is funny how two unconnected pieces of research can relate to the same topic mixing youth, drugs, mental illness, emasculation and risk taking. Both studies are of course full of conventionalisms and made the reader think that nothing new has been brought to the eternal debate between the good or bad effects of drug taking or the eternal role that the hypersexualised attractive woman plays upon the innocent man who cannot resists her charms.

First Time

When I first moved to my new neighbourhood I could never imagine that I could enjoy such a relaxing place for enjoying my secret and only vice. After months of depending on very unreliable third parties to get my marihuana and being very scared of going to score by myself, someone told me of this place not far from where I lived. The place was convenient, not only for its location, but also because it was open seven days a week including bank holidays.

Texan cops in Amsterdam

Once years ago I went to Amsterdam on my own for a week, I wanted to see how I would cope with being alone in a foreign city before I embarked on an extended period of travel. I wanted to see whether I could make friends and feel relaxed, I also love smoking weed so chose Amsterdam as the best place to test my social skills.

The most interesting thing about this film is the assertion from Crime Stoppers is that "you make think that your community is drowning in drugs and terrorised by drug related crimes but that is not really true"
