Why do children get high from glue?
The young and vunerable in all societies seem to face the same problems. The fact they are sniffing glue hasn't made them young and vunerable. Our societies push children into these situations not 'ilicit' drugs. We should worry about protecting them from the other dangers in our society before we worry about protecting them from 'drugs'. Children get high from sniffing glue or get messed up in heroin etc because they live terrible lives.
I disagree
To say people use drugs because they live terrible lives is a very broad statement indeed, i would go as far to say that its ignorance and a lack of awareness from the author to suggest otherwise.
