Bolivia Traffickers double cocaine manufacturing
The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) informed last week that Bolivia Traffickers have improved the cocaine manufacturing to double.
According to one of their representatives, the production of cocaine has become more sophisticated. Under the influence of Colombian cartels, Bolivian cocaine producers have introduced more efficient chemical technology applied in pharmaceutical and petrochemical industry. Also, according to Bolivian authorities, they have started using ground cocaine and cement in the fabrication of drugs.
The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) recognised that they have not been able to determine the efficiency of these procedures. Although they can ensure that they there is an improvement on the quality of the reactive.
This announcement supposes a new challenge to Bolivian government which has never recognised its real production of cocaine. However, the media has not paid too much attention to this information. Besides, the UNODC does not provide accurate data about their findings. Their quote is quite ambiguous and contradictory responding to their sensationalist and alarmist tone that we are used to in these cases.
