Chloé Bate
A Research Assistant in the School of Health and Wellbeing at the University of Glasgow. Her drug policy research interests explore substance use, harm reduction, and inclusion health. Chloé is also fieldworker at Glasgow Caledonian University, collecting data for the evaluation of the UK’s first safer consumption facility – The Thistle. For the last two years she has collaborated and volunteered with The Loop, Release, and The Scottish Drugs Forum. She is passionate about work that centres the living experience in political participation, and for a human rights approach to drug policy.
