David McNeill

David graduated with a Master’s in Research in Human Geography in 2024, with a research focus on legacies of Cold-War era violence in shaping present-day dispossession in the Thai borderlands—processes often heavily linked to both historical and contemporary involvement in the drug trade. He has an interest in the international components of drug policy, particularly focused on South East Asia, and also took classes on the sociology of substance use during his undergraduate studies.
