Jack Hayes

Jack Hayes holds a BA in Politics and Sociology from the University of Manchester, researching the UK government's resistance to drug policy reform with a particular focus on the medical legalisation of cannabis. His research explored the political, ideological, and personal interest factors underpinning the country's prohibitionist stance. Jack has since contributed to drug policy research with organisations such as Hanway Associates, Release and the International Harm Reduction Roundtable, focusing on cannabis marketisation, the social impacts of stop-and-search practices and harm reduction.
