Margaret Hester is a doctoral researcher at the University of Galway and policy and research officer for UISCE. Her research interests explore drug policy, substance use, and harm reduction. Prior to moving to Ireland, Margaret worked on federal programmes and research related the intersection of public health and public safety for the ongoing overdose crisis in the United States.
