Verity Smith
Verity Smith is an early career researcher from the U.K, with expertise in drug policy, licensed leisure, policing and ethnographic methodologies. She is a Lecturer in Criminology at Manchester Metropolitan University, and recently completed a Postdoctoral position at the University of Hong Kong, working on drug use and policy projects. Her PhD, awarded by Durham University in 2022, explores the policing of drugs at music festivals. She has previously worked as a Teaching Fellow in Criminology at Bath Spa University.
